Alcaraz comes back from a set down to win 6(6)-7, 6-4, 7-6(3) after 3 hours and 21 minutes of grueling tennis. The win marks Alcaraz’s third consecutive win against the Italian and now leads 6-4 in their head-to-head.
Alcaraz started off great in the first set, leading to serve out the set at 5-3, however a couple of let ups allowed the Italian to come through saving 3 set-points before taking the set in the tie-break.
